Sales Professional, Graduate Gemologist (GIA)

Margot has been with Basch since October of 2022. As our resident appraiser, Margot mainly takes care of our diamond/gem ID, appraisals & sales. She studied at the Gemological Institute of America gaining her GG, AJA & AJP accreditations as well as her journeyman-ship with the world-renowned gemstone concave cutter Richard P. Homer. When she is not on the sales floor, Margot helps in our shop as our resident stone cutter & at times a backup jeweler when needed. With a manufacturing background in jewelry and gemology, Margot can surely help not only with your special occasion needs but make you confident in your knowledge of stones & jewelry purchases as well.

Margot has a family with two children and a dog Chewbacca, aka Chewie. They love staying active, taking trips to Mackinac in the summer and kayaking on the weekends. Margot and the fam are big foodies who enjoy the flavor of cuisine cooking at home namely Italian, Japanese & Lebanese.
